Is this bipolar disorder? |
My sister can go from being very happy and her normal self to being very angry and hostile, almost on the verge of tears. any small thing can cause this, be it a word or pinching her knee (she is ticklish there). thing is, she only gets this way when a family member does it, not her friends. can you help me figure out what causes these mood swings? LMAO!!! as i was reading the first part i'm like to myself "oh gosh, maybe this girl really has Bi-polar disorder" but then i read the last part about being 13 yrs old!! Of course, almsot every teen goes through this, no worries. I am 15, i am still a little like that, i can be sooo happy but then i get sooo mad if someone does something wrong (especially my family, not much my friends) so relax about it, there is nothing wrong!!! No. Bipolar disorder is a fabricated "medical condition" used by psycho pseudo-doctors to help drug companies push their meds. i am bi-polar sounds like she may have a problem. Then again her age can be a factor going into the teenage pressures..thats a tough time That sounds more like mood swings, which can be a symptom of bipolar disorder, but also many other mental health disorders too, including depression. When I first read this I thought she could be bipolar but being a 13 year old girl changes it all. There are so many changes going on in her mind and body that it makes sense that she is acting this way. Give it her sometime and she should be back to more stable ground. That's just puberty, sir. She's going to be like that for another four years or so, and hopefully she'll outgrow it. It's just hormones. |
