Special diet for people who had kidney transplantation.? |
The diet which is helping to keep the transplanted kidney be more safe and sound and the way to have better functioning. http://www.aakp.org/aakp-library/diet-af... yep there is. would consult with dr for specific related to ur indivual medical problem I had a kidney transplant + i got diabetes. the diabetic diet is the best diet to follow I was never given a specific diet. I was told right after to eat plenty of protein. I am not to have grapefruit, but that's ok with me because I don't like it. Eat healthy and watch your portions. I was told that after transplant most patients can double their weight eating things that they were deprieved of. That didn't happen to me. In fact I have lost 40 pounds since my transplant 3 1/2 years ago. Good luck to you. |
