Is there any problem in getting pregnancy after donating kidney?

I am Manjula 29 yrs old. Six months back I have donated my
right kidney to my own brother for transplantation. Now both are well
by the grace of Almighty. I' m working as a lecturer. I want to know the
restrictions which should be followed by me. Till now I didn't get
married. Is there any problem in getting marriage due to the donation of
kidney. Some of my friends told that there will be some problems arise
during pregnancy period. Is it true? I'm having confident of living with
one kidney. But i want to clarify some doubts. Please reply me

Male: no problems with impregnating a woman, if you only have one kidney.

Female: no problems with carrying a baby to term, however, keep in mind that pregnancy puts stress on the body. Bladder, especially, gets pressure on it and you feel the need to void all the time. That shouldn't be a problem, however, unless you were to get a bladder infection, which can then cause a kidney infection....Talk to a doctor and get monitored. (I just don't think it is that big of a deal though, and you shouldn't worry about not being married (and it shouldn't be a reason !)
