Kidney Stones.?

I've been suffering with kidney stones for about 3 years now, and I've already had the Lithotripsy once , and my next one is going to have to wait for a while. I'm sure I have plenty of them in my right kidney, and the pain is unbearable at times. I take Ibuprofen 800's often to try and kill the pain, but I'm becoming resistant to them.
I don't drink anything caffeinated or carbonated, and don't eat dairy products...suggestions of my doctors.
Has anyone else has experienced this, and have any tips on pain killers or soothers?

ultram works for me. its non-narcotic and really gets rid of the pain

Although they hardly remove them surgically anymore, perhaps you should ask your M.D. if this would be possible. I can't believe you have been suffering with them for 3 years!!
