where does the soreness hurt?

Depends on how big the stone is and where it has lodged.
You might feel the pain in your back or sides in the general area of the kidneys, or any where along the pathway of the urine flow. It may actually block the urine completely and blood may or may not be present.

If you suspect you have a kidney stone, check with your doc. They can easily find out. No sense enduring the pain.

I had kidney stones and have given birth 3 times in my life and I would rather give birth. It starts in your lower back and goes around front. I thought I had an ovary burst. If the stone lodges then it won't hurt until it tries to pass so it can be off again on again. I was in so much pain that the nausea was unbearable. Similar to someone who has migraines.
