Kidney stones every other week? |
not too long ago i had lithotrispy because of a kidney stone. my urologist said that it wasnt caused by my diet.. it was caused because of my horseshoe shaped kidney. after lithotripsy i have passed 5 other kidney stones. every other week! so every 2 weeks i have to go through the pain once again. im only 15..is this normal? i've been to docters over and over again and they can't figure out how these stones are being made so fast. My back always hurts and i never feel like doing anything any more. i dont want to live the rest of my life like this...any advice? anybody have the same problem? I am SO SORRY that you are going through this. I started having problems in my teenage years as well. Please consider seeing a Nephrologist (kidney specialist) to be tested for Renal Tubular Acidosis and Nephrocalcinosis. |
