Questions about kidney infections?

Can you still have an kidney infection if your urine comes back clean? My kidneys have been hurting me and I am 20 weeks pregnant, and I had them throughtout my last pregnancy. They hurt all the time even worse when I pee. But every time they check my urine they say its fine.

So could I still have one and it not show up on the urine?

Probably not, although that does not mean that you don't have an issue with your kidneys. You could have kidney stones or bladder stones or being pregnant there could be a number of things going on. Contact your OB and ask for a referral to a urologist and get to the bottom of this... pain always an indication of a problem. Good luck.

you might .. just drink some cranberry juice or water .. no pop or tea!

flush out those kidneys girl! .. they will feel better

I don't know - but I would be talking to your dr about this. You may be able to be referred to a urologist too - that's really who you should be seeing. Kidney infections are nothing to fool with, esp if you're pregnant.

Im not sure about that, but I was having the same problem a couple of weeks ago and I want to tell U a known brazilian recipe of tea that will stop the pain and you will be able to pee clean and a lot!
Try finding a place where you can buy a corn. Get that 麓hair麓part of the corn and with 1 tablespoon of the hair, mix with 1 liter of water(about 4 cups) and drink. You can ad a bit of sugar if you want. The taste is not unpleasant at all and it will really help you A LOT!!! Since its a natural recipe, you can drink always. But to be safe, you can always ask your doctor before, since you are pregnant!
I really hope it works for you as it did for me!!
(its also very good for your bladder)
