Can urinary/kidney infections in boys be caused by injury to Kidney, i.e. while playing football?


Son took a fairly hard hit to the lower back/abdomen in a football game last week. Now is having symptoms of painful urination, blood cells present in urine sample test. Culture is not back. Just looking for information.

it can very easily be the situation , bones don't protect everything , be kinda lucky if all he gets away with is urinary infection

try doing a google or yahoo search on urinary tract infections
