Why do i get kidney infections so much!!!?

Why do i get kidney infections so much!!!?

Firstly, do anything that you would do for a urinary tract infection.

This includes drinking plenty of fluids (like water) to keep everythign flowing. The more you urinate, the more often you are flushing out the kidney, ureters, bladder, and urethra.

Cranberry juice is good for prevention as it is acidic AND contains properties that make it difficult for pathogens to adhere to the walls of your urinary system. Blueberry juice is good for this as well if you don't like cranberry juice.

Also, DO NOT listen to the lady who said sex is not a cause. urinating before and after intercourse is very important, as intercourse stimulates an upwards peristalsis of your urethra. This takes bacteria with it, and is a major cause of UTIs.

Also, make sure to wipe front to back...E.coli is the usual suspect in UTIs.

And finally, specifically for kidney infections...go see your doctor (or a clinic if you can't afford a doctor) ASAP when you have any signs or symptoms of a UTI.

If you do all of this and continue to have problems, you really do need to see a urologist. The kidneys are responsible for not only filtering, but they are THE go-to organ for fluid and electrolyte balance. Frequent kidney infections can seriously screw up your kidneys and cause severe problems for you later in life. Trust me, you do not want to deal with renal failure.

Frequently it's caused by too much sexual activity, or simply not going to the bathroom immediately after sex.

You need to drink lots more water, cleans out your kidney

You need to see a urologist and they'll be able to tell you what's going on. It maybe a structural problem. See a urologist.

I can't tell you WHY, but here's something that really helps the urinary tract. Cranberry juice. One glass a day and I can guaranty you'll see a difference. I've always been prone to kidney and bladder infection until I took my home health aid course. When we did the chapter on urinary tract, I learned how good cranberry juice is. I've had very few since then. Give it a try, what have you got to lose other than kidney infections?
P.S. I assure you that it has nothing to do with too much sexual activity!!!

For a while the same thing was happening to me. My problem is water. I just can't stand to drink it. Since I've been sick, I've started to drink more water and I always try to drink cranberry juice. Cranberry tablets are also good to take.
