Kidney infection and dizziness?

I went to the ER on Saturday night because I was so dizzy I fainted a couple times (that was my only symptom). They "diagnosed" me with a kidney infection (like a UTI), and sent me home with antibiotics. I am still dizzy and NO info I found says kidney infections lead to dizziness. I went back to a second opinion from my PCP, and he didn't have any ideas what else it might be (althought i persuaded him to test my thyroid). Any suggestions?

I have chronic stomach problems (Gastritis, I'm on Aciphex), eat well, drink a ton of water (4 20oz bottles a day) and do not drink any alcohol.

im not sure as to what else it could be, but i had a severe kidney infection, on top of a uti once, and i felt exactly the same. I was extremely dizzy. everything affects people differnetly, but for me, i was dizzy too. :)

The dizziness may very well be related to the kidney infection. If you have any type of infection, it can raise your blood pressure as your body fights the illness, and high blood pressure can cause dizziness. Severe pain can increase blood pressure too.
