Home Remedie for Kidney Infection....?

I have UTI's/ Kidney Infections a lot if I don't drink enough water or I drink too much coke or coffee i get them... What are some home remedies to try that aren't outrageous and work, to clear up the infection when I feel my side plank hurting...

IF, you have kidney infection, you need antibiotic first. I am a naturist, I don't agree with chemicals, but in your case, you need to get rid of the infection first and after this take whatever everybody told you to take in order to restore your kidney and to prevent further infection. Unsweetened organic cranberry juice, and vitamin shoppe has a combination of all kind of ingredients in one pill, like Diuretic pill, Kidney etc Good luck!!!

cranberry juice

Cranberry juice helps prevent them, but I had to go to the doc when I had a kidney infection.

Drink a glass of cranberry juice or take a cranberry supplement daily. Also drink your water. The cranberry makes the urine more acidic, thus inhibiting the bacterial growth. Also try to urinate after intercourse (Immediately) to wash away any germs, and wipe your butt toward the back, not the front. All of these are good techniques to help avoid UTI's. If you feel your flank start hurting, you need to see a doctor. Ascending UTI's are damaging to the kidneys and need antibiotics.

The best thing for kidney infections is Cranberry juice. Most urologists will recommend drinking at least a half gallon to get rid of the infection.

There is an enzyme in the Cranberry juice that kills the infection plus it is a natural diuretic and will flush you out.

It also works on bladder infections.

There are things other than Cranberries, too... Some simple things like Potassium, B-vitamins, and Vitamin C help, as well as Juniper Berries, Cornsilk, and Uva Ursi also help for kidney and urinary tract health.

Buy some Azo and drink cranberry juice and lots of water.

Cranberry juice and Milk Thistle. You could also get cranberry capsules.

all of the above are really good. I had a friend that had constant urinary tract infections (for over a year) and it turned out that he was diabetic.

So you might have yourself checked for that (only if you are prone or have a family history).

Also try drinking lots of water to clean out the kidneys, if you are young you might grow out of them. My younger sister used to have them a lot when she was a teenager, and hasn't had any for a long time that I know of.
