Kidney Failure, now Pacemaker!? |
My mother suffered Kidney failure in December..it came almost without warning. She has been on dialysis 3 times a week since the end of december...but they could not get her blood pressure regulated. This week, she started blacking out. My sister took her to the hospital and the EKG showed that the heart would stop beating to large intervals. The did emergency surgery to put a pacemaker in. ....sad as it may seem, and cruel as it may sound, there are situations, in this plane of existence, which are worse than death........we must all come to a point and decide when "modern medicine" becomes, in fact, "refined torture"..............know when to say stop...... the realization that the Spirit, like energy, is never destroyed helped ease my pain and loss during my Father's decline.......I understand your frustration..........................
