About kidney failure?

can anyone tell me whether masturbating too much will cause kidney failure? does maturbating has a link to kidney failure?
also pls tell me whether wat are the signs for kidney failure..
thks

Kidney failure is linked to gentic disease, alcaholism or substance abuse or other illnesses that can contribute to it...such as cancer. You can masturbate 24 seven if you would like. The worst thing that will happen is you'll run low on sperm count.

masturbating is sex without a partner . it has nothing to do with your kidneys.. someone is fibbing you.

Stop masturbation. You are wasting small amounts of salt, protein, zinc and fructose sugar. Try to build up a fine body. I think masturbation has nothing to do with kidney failure. Perhaps your kidney might have infected through some other source. Always wash your hands with soap and water (Doctors and nurses do that). Your genitals might have contaminated through your hands.
Acute renal failure is a rapid decrease in renal function over days to weeks, causing an accumulation of nitrogenous products in the blood (azotemia). It often results from major trauma, illness, or surgery but in some cases is caused by a rapidly progressive, intrinsic renal disease. Symptoms include anorexia, nausea, and vomiting, progressing to seizures and coma if the condition is untreated. Fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base disorders develop quickly. Diagnosis is based on laboratory tests of renal function, including serum creatinine, renal failure index, and urinary sediment. Other tests are needed to determine the cause. Treatment is directed at the cause but also includes fluid and electrolyte management and sometimes dialysis.
Please note that I am not a medical professional.
Please see the web pages for more details on Acute kidney failure.

Renal failure can broadly be divided into two categories (see flowchart below): acute renal failure and chronic renal failure.

Renal failure classification

Renal Failure

Chronic Acute

[edit] Chronic renal failure
Main article: Chronic renal failure
Chronic renal failure (CRF) develops slowly and gives few symptoms initially. It can be the complication of a large number of kidney diseases, such as IgA nephritis, glomerulonephritis, chronic pyelonephritis and urinary retention. End-stage renal failure (ESRF) is the ultimate consequence, in which case dialysis is generally required until a donor for a renal transplant is found.

[edit] Acute renal failure
Main article: Acute renal failure
Acute renal failure (ARF) is, as the name implies, a rapidly progressive loss of renal function, generally characterised by oliguria (decreased urine production, quantified as less than 400 mL per day in adults,[1] less than 0.5 mL/kg/h in children or less than 1 mL/kg/h in infants), body water and body fluids disturbances and electrolyte derangement. An underlying cause must be identified to arrest the progress, and dialysis may be necessary to bridge the time gap required for treating these fundamental causes.

[edit] Acute on chronic renal failure
Acute renal failure can be present on top of chronic renal failure. This is called acute-on-chronic renal failure (AoCRF). The acute part of AoCRF may be reversible and the aim of treatment, like in ARF, is to return the patient to their baseline renal function, which is typically measured by serum creatinine. AoCRF, like ARF, can be difficult to distinguish from chronic renal failure, if the patient has not been followed by a physician and no baseline (i.e., past) blood work is available for comparison.

[edit] Use of the term uremia
Before the advancement of modern medicine renal failure might be referred to as uremic poisoning. Uremia was the term used to describe the contamination of the blood with urine. Starting around 1847 this term was used to describe reduced urine output, now known as oliguria, that was thought to be caused by the urine mixing with the blood instead of being voided through the urethra.

Masturbation has nothing at all to do with kidney failure. As for the signs of kidney failure, My late husband was a diabetic and suffered with kidney failure as a result of the disease. He ended up on dialysis. The early symptoms were swelling in his ankles, feet, and hands (but could include other parts of the body) vomiting, nausea, loss of appetite, trouble urinating, bloating and pain. If you suspect you have kidney failure, it is important that you seek medical help without delay. Kidney failure is life threatening. If you are only experiencing some minor symptoms such as trouble urinating, or a burning sensation when urinating, then you may just have a urinary tract infection, but this too should not go untreated and seeing your doctor is important. Good luck!
