Can kidney failure cause skin to be transparent? |
I have this problem where my skin is really transparent and you can see the veins under my skin all over my body. This happened overnight. Well, I asked on another board about what can cause skin to get that transparent and someone said I may have kidney failure. Can kidney failure really make my skin transparent, or was that person wrong? Because I feel fine otherwise. And I've never heard anything about kidney failure causing skin to get transparent. Kidney failure can cause that problem but if that were the problem trust me you would know. Anemia can also cause that problem. You can have it and not really know it. A simple blood test would tell you exactly what the problem is and it's fairly inexpensive to have done. Good luck and don't worry about the kidney thing. |
