Diabetes? kidney failure?


my grandpa is being admitted to the hospital b/c of kidney failure, theyre also doing dyalisis. my family has alot of history of cancer and diabetes, si we can be at risk too, can u tell me everything about it, and how to help? please this is serious! thankyou so much鈾?/div>

one of the complications resulting from diabetes is kidney failure .
since you have a family history of a disease you should have a routine testing for both diabetes & cancer , so that it will be detected " if any " as early as possible , so it is easier to manage.
BUT prevention is better than cure ,
you can decrease the risk by :
having healthy diet containing : Fibers & Antioxidants . and avoiding junk food as possible .
excersise & excersise & excersise " i mean physcal activity "
healthy life style in general , eg. :No Smoking
routine testing is very important

There can be several different reason his kidneys are failing. Dialysis is not a cure but a way to assist the body as the kidneys are no longer able to.

Eat balanced meals at regular times. Go light on the sweets.

diabetis can sometimes lead to kidney failure.. it's called nephropathy.. aside from nephropathy it can also cause retinopathy or loss of eyesight.
