How do people in their 20's get heart attacks and kidney failure? |
A close friend of ours had a heart attack yesterday at the age of 27. He had no health problems, wasn't on drugs, ate healthy and exercised everyday. He has no family history of any heart disease. He was happy and everything. I just don't understand how someone so healthy and so young can have a heart attack and kidney failure. When people in their young age die from heart attacks or kidney failure, it's most likely due to stress and strong familial or genetic predisposition that he/she wasn't aware of. Diseases can become very treacherous. Sometimes, they can skip one generation and the next one get them all. You can fight or prevent any diseases caused by environmental factors. But when it comes to genetics, you are powerless; as we don't get to choose our parents. It's the luck of the draw. Thanks. There are studies linking ingestion of HFCS to increase levels of serum triglycerides which can lead to HTN, heart diseases.and other problems. Report It Increase intake of foods with high glycemic index can turn off the glucose breakdown pathway resulting to accmmultion of fats and thus obesity. Obesity can lead to HTN; high chol;high trigycerides; DM and heart disease Report It Someone poisoned him? How would we know, if the doctors don't know? Sadly these things can just happen unexpetedly. Several years ago while doing my clinical hours in an ER for my EMT license a middle 30s man came in having his third heart attack. He was sent to another hospital for better treatment and before he reached it he had a fourth heart attack. Many times a seemingly healthy young person has the unexpected happen. mostly genetic predesposition. you can have a heart attack & kidney failure from malnutrition, if you dont have the right chemicals (from nutrition{i.e.vitamins, food}), not drinking enough water can cause kidney problems, not getting exersice can cause these problems to.-blurey |
