Can many recurrent kidney infections cause kidney failure? |
I already wrote a question in regards to my ongoing kidney problems which have caused me NOT to be able to work in last 7-8 years. I have no support and it is becomming very upsetting. I think they can cause kidney failure, yes. And when they do you must IMMEDIATELY apply for disability if you live in the U.S. I read somewhere that kidney failure was one of the things where they usually automatically label you disabled, so you would be able to get money from the government that way. I know this cuz I'm trying to get disability and have researched it. Yes it can damage the kidney enough to cause permanent damage. it is possible ask your doc about getting bactrimds as a regular med Yes, You really need to find out what causes your kidney infections. If you do not get the infection properly treated or controlled you can indeed cause your kidneys damage resulting in failure. I am very sorry to tell you that but it is true. Please get in touch with a doctor who knows alot about kidneys. Yes, that is why it is very important to treat ongoing infections and keep on taking prophylactic medications to prevent recurrence. It depends on the person You need to be in the hands of a Renologist....not a general practitioner. To answer your specific question, yes, they can cause renal failure. What is your current renal output...has anyone measured it? How about your BUN or Creatinine? These values are very important in your care. |
