Polycystic kidney disease question...?

Dad has dominant polycystic kidney disease. He has a 50% chance of passing it to his kids, right? What about mom? What's the odds of mom having the dominant disease? and if mom does have it, what are the kids chances then? Are they 100% chance that they'll get it? Are they 50%?
Looking for an expert to help me out, or point me to a website that can give me the answers to these specific questions? THANK YOU!!

if it's dominant and your mom had it then you would know/a kidney ultrasound would show it.

if only your dad has it, you chance is 50%

if both parents have it, it depends on if they have two dominant traits, in which case you chance would be 100% (unlikely unless all 4 grandparents have it). if they have one normal and then one cystic gene then you'd have a 75% chance of having it (since it's dominant).

it's all about the punnet square...

start with looking up the experiments of Gregor Mendel, that will give you a good idea of how genetic dominants and recessives work. This is basic highschool biology, should have paid attention.
