Dogs with Kidney disease & acne? |
My 4 year old Doberman was diagnosed with kidney disease when he was 1 year old, when he was finally diagnosed the x-ray and ultrasound showed his kidneys were so far gone the vet had told us he was living on borrowed time so , appreciate him well we have him.. He dose well with some bouts of weight loss and fatigue. Over the last few years he started getting acne just on his chin and as long as I kept it clean it stayed under control but, now his acne has gotten much worse it has spread to his lips, his snout and even a few sore inside his mouth and it looks painful. That sounds nasty, maybe if you ask in the Pet section you will get appropriate answers, this section deal with human health. Awww.....poor boy. It may not be acne. But it must be related to his weak immune system. You may want to talk to the vet about it. Make sure he doesn't have a bacterial infection that will make him sicker and sicker. |
