I might have Kidney Disease?

Right now, I really scared, I might have KIdney Disease. I checked online, and i have one symptom, which is protein in the urine. How do I know this? When I urine, foam appears in my toilet. I had this symptom for a long time, I thought it would go away, but it hasn't. I'm 18 yrs old;i feel really nervous/scared. I have told my mom, and she said she was going to try to make a doctor appointment ASAP. She said it might be a infection, but i doubt it. Should i be really worried?

How sure are you that you have protein in your urine? I am just wondering if you have done a urine dipstick. This is one measure that you will know that you have protein in your urine. If you are seeing a doctor soon, he should be checking your blood sample such as the creatinine, urea and potassium. I am just wondering if you are experiencing any other symptoms such as flank pain or you have blood in your urine.
