Can cancer increase your estrogen level (kidney Cancer)?

i want to know because i had cancer and people say i cry alot and please give me a source i want to prove it to this jerk that insults me and says you cant cry from cancer.

Well, I am sorry this person was rude to you.

But yes, cancer and the treatment can mess with you hormonally. Treatment can also give you perimenapausal symptoms, as well as actually send you to menapause.

Most cancer patients are also clinically depressed. Most patients are automatically put on anti depressants and sometimes anti anxiety. I had depression issues before hand that werent being treated, that I was in somewhat denial about. My doc recognized that and basically demanded that I go on anti depressants. Lexapro has worked best for me, but each person is different.

Also, if you are at menapausal age anyways, it cancer and treatment has an even higher risk of sending you into menapause, and all the symptoms that go with it.

If you are of child bearing age, most docs recommend birth control. That also messes with your hormones.

Im sorry this guy was rude, but he was probably right in suggesting that you need psychological or hormonal help.

Any form of cancer change change a person's life...physical and emotional well-being.
Here's a link that refers to emotional effects from cancer...

Honestly...don't concern yourself with what this jerk or anyone else says that is detrimental to you. You may not be able to change what people say, but you can choose how to react to them...think of this...when they speak...it's hot air blowing through the room...that's all it is.
I wish you the best.
