What is the best diet for one surviving kidney cancer? I have lost a Kidney to cancer.After I recovered the Dr. told me to drink at least a gallon of water a day. The more water you drink the better . It helps the Kidney that is left function better & pushes out toxins. The biggest thing he told me was to watch my protine intake, as protine is hard on the Kidneys. You will not believe how many things have protine in them. My faviorte candy is licurious & each piece has 9 grams of protine. Your Dr. may not have all the answers go to the American Cancer socity. Caffeine should be avoided & Mountain Dew is the worst soda you can drink. God Bless & take care. Ummm don't you think you should talk to your Dr about this 'un? you should ask a specialist eat more fruits and vegetables and drink a lot of wather (more than 2500ml per day) |
