Is there a way to remove keloids from your body? |
I'm a black male and have a few on my chest from acne scars as a kid. I kinda want to display my chest but am embarrassed to with these keloids on it. Rarely are keloids zapped with a laser, or removed with a scalpel. Work with a Dermatologist, do not take no for an answer. They have the option, of directly injecting each keloid, with cortisone. No matter how many you have, on your body, they can be injected, in this manner, at your doctors discretion. The problem is, they would surgically remove them, which could leave a larger keloid. YEAH WITH PEELING The only way i know for old kelloid apart from surgery is cortisone injections in the area Keloids may be reduced in size by freezing, external pressure, corticosteroid injections, laser treatments, radiation, or surgical removal See a dermatologist about your problem, they deal with it all the time and will go over your options. I believe one tool they use is laser surgery. There is one laser that you can look for..Pulsed Dye Laser. It will help in flattening the keloids. |
