About Keloids?

How do you know when you are about to get one? What are the first signs?

Keloids are usually the result of cuts and other trauma to the skin. Instead of a normal scab, a raised skin like scab is formed. Keloids are more prevalent in darker skin tones, There is no real way of knowing if you are going to develop keloids. A good clue though is genetics, if you have people in your family prone to keloid scarring you may be too.
