Did you or your child ever have kawasaki's disease.....? |
I am just wondering if anyone had kawasaki's disease or has a child that did and if so, did u you or your child have any problems down the road. My son had it when he was almost 6 months old and is now almost 3 years. He had dialation of the coranary arteries, but all seems good now. the dialation has went back to normal and he sees a cardiologist. He has a lot of social issues... ex. VERY shy and seems teriffied of children. He's an only child. He also had a lot of problems with his teeth decaying we have had that fixed. I was just wondering of anyone else or thier child had any similar problems or any other problems down the road. I've heard that it can cause some types of delay in some children. Please if you have no idea what disease i'm talking about please don't answer i just want to hear from people that have had this or their child (or relative) has. I'm sorry, this is not a response to your current query, but I have read through your other queries on "yahoo answers", and thought it would be nice to share some of my experiences with you. My daughter had similar issues with socializing etc. She could recognize all letters of the alphabet, shapes, many different colors, numbers, body parts, animals etc. when she was one year of age. She was *always* loving, caring, and made perfect eye-contact. I had this gut feelings and got her finally diagnosed with autism when she was three years of age. Early diagnosis is the *key* to success and early intervention has worked *wonders* on her. |
