Can kawasaki disease cause autism? |
Can kawasaki disease cause autism? My son had KD when he was 5 months. HE had mild coronary dilations which has now normalised. Kawasaki's disease can cause some learning disabilities but I do not think there is a link to autism. Hi: From my knowledge of the disease no didnt think it did. There is very little research into what causes autism but I have a lot of knowledge of autism and would say that I wouldnt have thought kawasaki disease would cause this. they r not related ,,kawaski is a different disease than autism ,,,and to my knowledge there is no connection ,, |
