Hi prakashthakrar.
Juvenile diabetes is a peculiar disease. It is not like, one day stomach ache, two days toothache or three days headache. The modern child is educated enough to understand what diabetes is about. It is aware of the serious implications of the disease. Naturally it would be the shocking news for the parents that their young child has diabetes. But the reality has to be faced boldly by both the parents and the child. For winning such cases, 80% of the treatment is psychological where only 20% is the actual medication.

Remember, food is responsible for every type of disease and food takes responsibility for curing every type of disease. This statement may look contradictory, but it is nothing but the truth. We need to take right food at the right time. The number one rule for diabetic children is that they need to eat healthily. And this diet education needs to be given to the children from the parents as a part of the home discipline.

Your love to the child need not be expressed through fulfilling its demand for wrong types of food. The various types of junk foods with more and more carbohydrates, sugarcoated and cream items should be avoided at all the cost. Give your child the appropriate food items such as seasonal fruits and vegetables, containing adequate fiber.

If doctor prescribed based on blood sugar, it is probably ok.

your son maybe eat a lot of sugar per day, if you r sure that he is a diabetes patient. he should belong to 1 type of diabetes. There are some symptoms, which is diuresis, eat more, drinking more and become thin..
so, for this disease, you should bring him to see doctor and stop sugar.. The doctor maybe give you insulin for injection. careful to use the insulin, you need to follow the explanation or usage of medicine. That is to say, have a good diet custom ,such as more meals and a few food!!
I sincerely hope that your son will be have a healthy body and smile everyday!

I m very sorry to know about your kids problem, It must be very difficult to see your child taking so many pricks, Hope for the best.

You can get your son get rid of insulin injections altogether if you along with him do meditation for an hour daily for six to nine months by learning the same from an experienced spiritual teacher through the process of self-realization.

I have a sister who have diabetes for the last 6 -7 years. Each time she visit doctor and always her reading is on the high side. For the last 4 months she have been drinking the Xangosteen juice with the doctor's medicine and recently she went for her check up and doctor have clear her. Why don't you try this on your son? Is only juice and is healthy.
