What is the normal range for juvenile diabetes? |
What is the normal range for juvenile diabetes? like age ???? between 14 and 18 years of age if it runs in the family . in my family at least Do you mean blood sugar or age range? Blood sugars fasting(8 hours or more without food) should be between 60 or 70 mg/dl(milligrams per deciliter)and 120. Age range can be from age 2 to 80 and beyond, there really isn't a juvenille diabetes any more theres type one and two, children now can have type 2 thats why they cahanged it. Type two is totally different it's usually caused by being overweight and not active during any stage of life. It was formally called adult onset diabetes. As far as blood sugar range goes, 80-around 120 is probably a pretty safe range to aim for. Anything below 70-80 seems a little low and definitely anything around the 200+ range is high. Blood sugar toleration is unique for each individual person but that is the normal range. |
