What is your experience about juvenile diabetes , any insulin taking patient you know ,i want detail ..? |
my daughter diagnosed astype 1 DM First of all, no one here can give you the medical advice that your child's doctor can give you. And that is who you should be asking for specific medical advice. I'm not saying this to be mean, this is honestly what you need to do. For someone who wants details your question sure does lack substance, in fact I don't really see a question. You want the details of every insulin injection over the last 32 years? I'm type 1 diabetic, it's easy to control your bloodsugar levels most of the time if you eat right, exercise, and take the proper amount of insulin. I take four bloodtests a day, and three insulin shots a day. I'm not sure what else I can say, sorry. I was diagnosed when I was 12 years old. A few monts later, I was giving myself Lente/Humalog mixed injections in my arms, tummy, and thighs. When I was 16, I got an insulin pump. I really like it because I don't have to eat at a certain time and I can eat how much/little I want. I have to change the infusion set every 3 days to keep it from getting infected. It does get infected sometimes though and I have to take antibiotics. If you want to know more just IM me at ashleyjoroberts. 32 YEARS TYPE 1, DROP ME AN E-MAIL, I'LL HELP AS MUCH AS I CAN. bearchow03@yahoo.com |
