My friends jock itch help please?

okay so my friend has put cruex
and some other creams on his jock itch for about a week and a half (this was a while ago)
and he said that the color is still there but the itch is gone

hes had the jock itch for 2 years and just did that treatment a few months ago

so he was wondering since the itch is gone and the colors still there is the jock itch still there ?

i forgot to add he used cruex for a week and a half and a cream for a week

It can take up to a month to get rid of jock itch. Since the color is still there he should keep using it for at least another 3 weeks.
Since he has had it so long he should maybe see a doctor to get a prescription strength antifungal, it may work better.

um maybe it's herpes

If over the counter medicines don't work, especially after using it for two years, than the best thing to do is see a doctor. They can properly diagnose it and prescribe medicine that will more likely work.
