Go back to the Doctors, and see what other medications he can prescribe...

Its probably a dermatitus skin infection and what he prescribed didnt clear it up.

(There are so many different things that can happen)...

The main thing is to keep the area dry! Sweat and other moisture will only irritate it.

I wish you well..

maybe u have crabs LOL !!!!!!!!!!! naw j/p idk

I guess its safe to assume that the medication didn't work. Have you tried using anti-fungal powders, like the ones for athlete's foot? Jock itch is basically a fungal infection. Now if the powder don't work try an anti-fungal cream, used also for athlete's foot. If that still doesn't work, you'll need to be referred to a dermatologist. Whatever you do, try your best not to scratch down there. It'll thicken up the skin and get even worse. Best of luck to you.

Jock itch? Is'nt that a term to masturbate by scratching? Yeeooooowwwww!!!

Itching can be caused by insect bites like mosquito bites, heat rashes or allergic reactions.Aloe vera gel , apple cider vinegar or vitamin E oil can be effectively used on the affected skin.
