Question about jock itch and doctors visit?

when you went to the doctors because you had jock itch did they look at your penis under a microscope or like take a tiny skin sample and look at it on a microscope slide? please let me know this is serious.

its not an std. im a teenager and have not had sex so it cant be. im jw cuz when i went to the doctor they told me it was jock itch but they didnt take a skin sample or anything like i heard they where going to

yes so they can check and rule out any other possibilities.. like crabs....
but you can find lots of cremes at walgreens. you can use athletes foot, or jock itch creme......

No, they didn't, but then again I didn't go to the doctor. They might be making sure it's not an std, or any sort of mite.
I used commercial jock itch stuff and it worked fine for me. Either spray or cream, and I think they make one that works completely within a week, as opposed to 2-4 week methods.
When you do clear it up, try using either baby powder, corn starch or Goldbond powder. I loved Goldbond when I played football in college, it has menthol in it, so gives a cooling sensation when applied.
