Is there a cure for Jet Lag?

I could sure use that right now. I get about 3 hours of sleep and then i wake up. So, is there a cure?

Hello,

A colleague of mine put together a page on mahalo.com called How to Overcome Jet Lag:

http://www.mahalo.com/How_to_overcome_je...

I think it has a lot of helpful tips, and I hope it helps you.

Mahalo,
Sara

get the medicine that makes u go to sleep

yes. sit still for about 3 days.

they have medicine for that

Don't ride jets! That'll rid of the lag.

Hm. The only things I've heard are eat protein if you're flying to a time zone that's earlier, and carbs if you're flying to a timezone that's later. they give you energy or make you drowsy. Drink lots of water...and make sure you watch the sun rise or set, to help set your internal clock. I read a study that people who shined lights on the back of their knees on the plane didn't have jet lag .... but I don't know if I believe it.

Or...just say screw it and drink lots of coffee.... :)

don't take pills, who knows what kind of crap is in them?! just try to go to sleep. listen to some soothing music. stuff like that.

If you can travel ahead of the jet instead of lagging behind it, then you shouldn't have that problem. LOL

Don't take long trips across time zones, but short trips and go to a Y or motel and rest before taking the next lag of your trip.

Take the trip traveling in the same direction that the sun is traveling across the sky.
