Are there any preventative measures to avoid getting jet lag?

Drink lots of water, and keep up good blood circulation

it and get a lot of sleep
and drink plenty
of water
and gum

drink lots of water and keep up on vitamins...especially b12

try to stay awake during travel time so you can sleep after.
