Period/Blood problem.. please help me im really scared!!!? |
im 17.. a few hours ago i started having abdominal pains now every 10-15 minutes i need to sit on the toilet seat and when i do an average amount of blood comes rushing down.. it's not too much but it's scaring me because I don't think it's my period.. it's very painful.. I cant do anything about it right now cause my parents are sleeping and I dont wanna wake them cause they're jet lagged.. Im terrified and alone and don't know what to do I've had periods before! i started when i was 12! i mean that the pad is clean, nothing comes out unless i sit on the toilet seat! then it hurst real bad and blood comes rushing out (an average amount) If you are worried then you NEED to go to the hospital. Even if you are parents are sleeping, you NEED to get them to go with your to the ER. you should call your hospital, and get advice from a nurse. but yoou really should wake up your parents, because then they can take you to the hospital. You might be having a miscarriage...if the pain is bad and you are bleeding then how do you have time and eneergy to be on the computer? GO TO THE HOSPITAL NOW WAKE UP YOUR MOM AND TELL HER NOW! this can be worse than you think! Ok, Calm down. If it doesn't stop, you need to get help. That doesn't sound like a normal period, and could be something worse. Call your doctor (if the office is closed, there will be someone on call), or just go to the hospital. It doesn't matter if your parents are sleeping, you need to get help. You really need to wake your parents and get to the doctors if it is not your period because it could be really serious. If you are not expecting your period is there a chance you could be pregnant? If so you could be experiencing teh beggining of a miscarriage or other type of problem. If you are using more than a pad an hour or have lots of clotting I would suggest calling your doctor's office emergency contact or on call contact and discussing exactly what is going on. Your parents love you and if you are that scared and in pain then you should talk to them. I am sure they would prefer to loose some rest to save your health. Take care I do not think you need to be at the ER. If you are sexually active, do a pregnancy test. Very important. Otherwise, some advil (ibuprofen) will lessen the cramps and the bleeding. You mentioned your folks are jet lagged. If you've just travelled, been ill, or been under stress, your period may be irregular and this might be what you are experiencing. Well i need some more info....could you posibly be pregnant? You need to wake up your mom. Take some motrin for the cramping it is the best. It is probably just a really bad period, but get your mom just in case. Because of the pain being pretty bad this definitely warrants waking your mom up and having this evaluated by a dr. I would recommend either an urgent care clinic if one is open, and if not then to the ER. Okay, that is freaky. First that doesn't sound normal, since you've been having your period for at least 5 years already. You should really wake your parents up, no matter how sleepily they sound. Tell them the problem about your period. You may need to go to the hospital and have a checkup. what do you mean, its NOT your period??? thats what it sounds like. You are overeacting & behaving like a 12 year old!!! Grow up! |
