i am just feeling very tired and weak, its just that in my jaundice test report is positive.is bed rest is must while suffering from jaundice.what should i eat n wht should i do to recover from jaundice.my total bilburin is 2.53.

spend a lot of time in the sun... jaundice means you needmore vitamin d. good luck!

You should be on a no to very very low protein diet.
This is a serious issue and you should be monitired by a Dr on a weekely basis, your liver is shutting down with a count of that high. You should be on bed rest 24/7 and on a specific diet given to you by the Dr.

Good Luck

Do you have hepatitis, or a bad liver? That's the only reason for jaundice that lasts that long. If you sit out in the sun, or even in front of a sunny window, the vitamin D will help clear up your jaundice.

You're tired and weak because that's a symptom of jaundice. You have your bilburin levels, but you don't mention why they're that high.

Talk to a licensed nutritionist and find a sunny window, you do need sunlight to help you heal.

Good luck!

Jaundice indicates a problem with your liver. Get your self to a doctor NOW! If the doctor that gave you the test results didn't do any other tests or give you any dietry/care advice then you need to get another doctor because the one you have is not helping you. If you can't get in to see another doctor go to your emergency dept. at a hospital because you need to get tested for things that could be life threatning or infectious. Your liver is telling you that you need to get help now!!
