Cancer jaundice swollen feet?

70-year-old, osteoarthritis, developed jaundice and was diagnosed with caner of spleen, liver, baldder. His feet have been swollen for quite sometime. Also, i wonder why the doc never diagnosed cancer, when he goes once a month to the VA?

It wasn't mentioned how long it was between developing jaundice and the cancer diagnosis, or what tests were done after the development of jaundice, and the time between those tests to the cancer diagnosis, nor what the patient goes to the hospital for 1x monthly.

Swollen feet at that age is not uncommon and can be due to many things besides cancer, just in case you were thinking the swollen feet should have tipped the doctor off to cancer.

Most basic exams or tests will not detect cancer. I had cancer yet basic bloodwork came back normal for years.
