Question about Jaundice regarding the wood element.?

For some reason I have really bad jaundice and there is an abnormal count in my blood. An acupuncurist told me I have something wrong in my wood element. How can I fix this? Is the water controling it or something? Please tell me how to fix this. And the strange thing is every since I was a baby I looooovvve sour foods like vinegar. I can drink it plain. I know the taste for the wood element is sour. Could that have effected it?
