Yellow eyes! could it be jaundice? |
i get comments from friends about the whites of my eyes being a yellowish hue...i understand this could be jaundice, but my skin isn't yellowing and the mucous membranes in my mouth aren't either...i also don't suffer from much fatigue or a loss of appetite...could it still be jaundice? or something else? i'm an otherwise healthy, 20 year old male! i'm worried! no, i don't poop white! stool is fine! If the whites of your eyes have recently become yellow then it is possible that you have mild jaundice. The only way to have this checked is get examined by your doctor. GIlbert's Syndrome it is! Thanks again to everyone here! Now I can rest easy :-) Report It would think so go see your doctor now Go to the DOCTOR. i think it is something else, you could be turing into a werewolf. I believe it to be low iron.. just take an iron suppliment or a good multi-vitamin with iron in it and you should be fine in short time! Maybe you are changing to wolfman Have you been checked for hepatitis? I suggest you ask your doctor before relying on any of us to diagnose you. A disease of the liver will turn your eyes a yellowish color....you should really ask a doctor though I've seen jaundice before and its not pretty. if your worried please go to the doctor especially if your eyes aren't always yellow. doesn't mean you have jaundice, might mean you have something else. and you wouldn't want to contaminate anyone if you have something that could be contagious. it could be WIlson's Disease....it is where you have too much copper...and if your not treated soon it could kill you.....go see your doctor ASAP...Good Luck If u get white colored s-h-i-t.. Then its surely jaundice.. I hav had this.. Happens due to contaminated water or excessive increase in body heat.. Jus yellow eyes can't be diagonsed as jaundice.. As a mother of three (18, 15 and 10) I have seen all kinds of small things that turn out to be big by waiting... Regardless of all the good advice you can receive here, there is not many doctors out there that would take risks on diagnosing without actually seeing the person. KEEP DRINKING TONS OF ALCOHOL YOU ARE FINE DONT STOP DRINKING UNTIL YOUR STOMACH IS HARD AS A ROCK AND YOUR BODY IS MUSTARD YELLOW Yellow eyes could be a sign of liver problems.Go to the doctor, maybe they can get a better diagnosis. It can't be kidneys because you'd be on dialysis.I'd be praying if it were bad. |
