Anybody know anything about jaundice?

i had jaundice when i was a baby and had to be put under the lights, for three days i was in the hospital, they even wanted to give me a blood transfusion, so the question is does anybody know anything about jaundice and since i had it when i was a baby will it give me problems in the long run.

it is called physiological jaundice it is not dangerous at all
it occurs to babies about one week after birth and it is self limited
but there are three types of jaundice related to blood liver and gallbladder diseases but there is no relationship between these three types and the physiological one

No you will not have problems in the long run. This is very very common in babies to need to go under the billirubin light. My son had to be under it for a while.

I am quite sure you're fine..My daughter had that...alot of babies do...it's very common...and doesn't affect you in adulthood. Once you are sent home from hospital, you're fine.
