OK...first please relax. Second...your bilirubin levels are hardly elevated enough to cause Jaundice. If by "Jaundice" you are refering to the elevated Bilirubin levels and not the Yellowish discoloration of the skin, sclera and tongue, than, OK, you have hyperbilirubinemia, not Jaundice. Hyperbilirubinemia is a very common occurance. It is called Gilbert's syndrome. People who are of Meditteranean descent are more prone to this. They can have bilirubin levels as high as 3 without much cause for concern. Mine runs b/w 2.5 and 1.5 usually. Anyway, they will test you for a whole slew of things including hepatitis, and once they dont find anything, they can call it Gilbert's syndrome. It is of NO clinical significance. Just let doctors know that you have it so they dont freak out the next time, OK? Anyway, good luck!!

well............some people run a little higher than normal w/nothing wrong....can be from gallstones..an ultrasound of the liver and gallbladder are in order...what did the liver enzymes show..this is key here also...ask the doc
