Is alcohol the main cause of jaundice? |
My friend has a very thin posture, lazy behaviour, frequent changes in mood, dull eyes and fighter-like behaviour. Recently he was affected by jaundice. I m not sure or i dont know whether the reason of jaundice is alcohol or not? Sounds like classic symptoms of Hepatitis Hepatitis B or C, cirrhosis, acute liver failure, pancreatitis are probably the top things to consider...now for the clincher...the cause...drugs, alcohol, infection, cancer, drugs...good luck Alcohol has bad effect on liver but it is not the only cause there are many many (like 100 ) diseases of the liver...alcohol only causes 1 of them....don't judge your friend unless you know why. jaundice is a disease, a germ that infected him, booze doesnt help though. |
