Itching!!!?

About a year ago I started having itching in my pubic area - and very intense itching. I had to wake up in the middle of the night to put cream on to stop the itching so I could fall back asleep. I went to the doctor, and he examined me and said that I had no bacteria or anything parasitic/STD-like. Just in case, he gave me cream, and told me to use it until I stopped itching. Well, it did, for about a couple-few weeks, but the itching came back. What's wrong with me Yahoo?

Actually I'm a male... and I take a shower 2 times a day. I use seba med soap, or something that sounds like that.

A lot of the time it smells even when I don't do any exercise or sweat.

if you get in poisen ivy or soemthing that your alergic to it will cause itching. Im alergic to poisen ivy. I didnt know. I started itching like you. Buy something for the alergic infection

Are you shaving down there?

sorry if i will offend you......... hygiene is the term for it, wash it every after any call of nature and try to use a feminal wash, in washing your underwears dont use laundry soap because they have harsh ingredients in it, use a delicate soap for it.......(",

Since your doc said there's nothing wrong, go to the store and buy a bottle of anti-bacterial hand soap. (NOT hand sanitizer!!!) Wash the area once or twice a day and it should clear it up in about a day or so by killing any bacteria that is causing the itch. Make sure you are not wearing jeans/pants that are to tight because that can cause itching and irritation. Also, try not to wear silky undies unless they have a cotton crotch.

Ahhh the femanin itch!
Are you itching just at night or through out the day as well?? I dont know but you may find that you are more sensative in the area and the itching could be caused by constriction (sounds silly but hear me out) The skin around your pubic area (and arm pits) are really sensative. You may find that the type of knickers and trousers especially if they are tight fitting my be causeing it to rub/sweat and there for become itchy when you go to bed.Equally if you are only itching at night it could be because its becomeing too hot in that perticular spot. Try wearing loos fitting Pjs to bed and try not to get too hot. It might be an idea just to place a cold flannel on that area before going to bed. Also if you shave/ wax your pubic region on a reular basis this can also cause itching. I would try using a vagasil wash which you can buy over the counter. Another possibilty is that because of skin sensativity in this area it may be a reaction to the soap you use or the ditgergent you wash your cloths in.

i hope this helps a little, good luck

Try to find Tee Tree Essential Oil and put on to two drops in one litter of water and wash your self with it every time you go to the loo. This will realy help.
