Crazy itching!!!!!!!!? |
i have itching with no rashes,my skin feels hot and has a pricky sensation when i start to itch. it drives me crazy, the itching so intense i almost tried to used a fork or a comb, it starts from the trunk (chest to abdomen) to the arms then the legs sometimes my butt cheeks also itch.it lasts for 30minutes to 1 hour, then dissapears ,then comebacks again ,unless i take antihistamine tablet.when i take antihistamine,i dont itch for 3 to 4 days.then after that itching comesback.anyone ever experience this ? i have been itching for 3 years now,ive seen a dermatologist no help at all, just gave me ointment. im desperate . they say antihistamines prevents you from being pregnant,, maybe thats the reason i dont get pregnant.i really nid to eliminate my crazy itching help anyone, need advice, ..thank you for taking time to read my question . I read with concern about what you are going through. You need to get a proper and accurate diagnosis. If your dermatologist is not helping, then look for another. I really think you need to see a dermatologist to get the real answer. This could be something inside. dont get your skin wet coz its goin to get more itchy. put on some vicks . OMG, honey, go to the emergency room. If it kills you, i mean. Sounds like hives. Go back and see your doctor. There's other reasons for itching, besides allergies, for example, problems with the liver. It's not fair that you have suffered this for so long, and you shouldn't have to put up with it for any longer. There's a reason and remedy out there, just keep at it. Good luck......HONEYPOT has a good point get blood tests done.i was itching really bad and did not know why.my dr. ordered tests and found i was type 2 diabetic and had elevated blood pressure.could be nerves.good luck.i know you are miserable. maybe ur allergic to not itching so u break out in a rash cause ur not scratching then wen you do scratch it makes it worse and better at the same time....scratch scratch..damn now ive started...must be that cat.....grrrr ok i have to go and scratch my "nurries" there drivin me nuts!! literately...... Go to your family doctor, make sure he knows this itching has been going on for some time. You need to have a complete blood workup, with hepatic panel done on your liver, for this sounds like a liver problem. Does prednisone stop the itching? You need to go to an allergy specialist. What you are experiencing is an allergic reaction since the antihistamine makes it go away. well if the dermatologist was no help mabye you could try a doctor. or maybe every 3-4 days take that medicine so that you are insured that you wont itch! i really dont know but seeing a doctor probably would be best if you want to have kids and if you are very concerned well thats all i can say hope yoou feel better! I have recently been experiencing this same thing! I have been itching like you describe for about two months now. I finally caved in and went to the doctor who gave me an alergy shot and higher potent antihistamines. About the only thing I can do now is go through alergy testing (I moved to a new area so something is bothering me)...then weekly shots. Itching can be caused by insect bites like mosquito bites, heat rashes or allergic reactions.Aloe vera gel , apple cider vinegar or vitamin E oil can be effectively used on the affected skin. |
