Itching while running? |
I haven't done any type of cardio excercise in a long time but I recently started again and I get this severe itching all over my body. No its not exercise-induced Urticaria because I don't get hives and the itching doesn't last, and I know its my body sweating because its stop itching as soon as I stop my excercise but I was wondering if this was ever going to go away or if there is anything I can do to help prevent/ease the itch? Where do you run? Do you run outside/inside? If you run inside, there could be something in the gym your allergic to. Try switching it up... run outside if you run inside, vice versa. You might want to get some aloe or anti-itching stuff at Walgreens. I have tons of it 'cause I have sensitive skin. Try putting it on before you run. There's a lot of kinds out there these days... lotions, spray, etc. Well it's actually a very normal reaction if you have not been working out for a while. It's a capillary reaction occurring within your skin that your brain interprets as an itch, but a consistent exercise routine will aid in revitalizing the capillaries and eventually eliminate the itching Report It usually its because your skin is dry. especially if your living in a low humidity area. try to lotion your whole body and try to do your cardio again. it should get rid of the itching drink more water |
