Itching..make it stop??

hey yea im lyk itching all over my body and i've been itching for like 20 minutes and it wont stop. yes i've had the chicken pox. and im like im red have lil bumps and started to bleed a little. help if you how to make the itching stop..even a lil!!

it may be some sort of rash live hives or pitoriasis, psoriasis or rosacea, contact your doctor or a dermatologist, you can try taking an antihistamine over the counte like benadryl, but it will make you sleepy

try gold bond medication at drug store

you may be having allergies and may need to see doctor. do u have any itch relief cream? as for temporary relief, i've used baby powder on the itchy area. don't scratch a lot.

oatmeal bath or calamine lotion

you need some aloe, and calamine lotion. it does wonders

Take benedryl and go to bed...you'll be better in the morning. Best wishes

try moisterising cream i tried it on mossy bites once and it worked. do you have fleas in your house or maybe mites if you have little red lumps.

Go to the Doctor.

Otherwise, if you are unable to do that, try taking a bath in something soothing...

have a baking soda bath. Try putting baking soda directly on where it's itchy...get the area a little wet so the soda will stick to it.
Wow you must be allergic to something!

Benadryl cream at your local drug store.....quick.

You might have a scabies infestation (serious). If you're still itching and have red bumps tomorrow you need to see a doctor to get a prescription.

maybe your allergic to something or even have rashes due to stress, either way, go to the drug store and buy oatmeal soap and soak in the tub. Then see a doctor ASAP!

Calamine lotion spread it all over the bumps and get some Benadryl It will stop the itching I promise!!

This will probably sting on open sores for a minute but the best homemade remedy I know of is mixing baking soda and alcohol into a paste and applying it to the infected area. It stings but it feels great afterwards, sorta like an icy-hot patch for itching.

1. epsom salt

2. hydrocortisone

3. calamine lotion

if problem persists ma, go to the doctor or ask a pharmacist. :-)

Poison oak? Bug bite? Scabies? I suggest you see a doctor soon if it doesn't go away in the next couple of days.

take a shower, and scrub! If that doesn't help, go to your local urgent care or emergency room. You might have scabies or something, you should get it checked out. Calamine lotion and hydrocortizone cream should help the itching, also.

It sounds like you're having an allergic reaction to something. You might try to take some benadryl (you can get that at the pharmacy) and call your doctor. Allergies can happen suddenly like that sometimes...if it is an allergy, the benadryl should help some. Good luck and try not to scratch!!

R U USING A NEW SOAP OR LAUNDRY DETERGENT, IT COULD BE THAT OR EITHER AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO SOMETHING YOU ATE. TRY TAKING A SHOWER AND USING SOME BENADRYL CREAM AFTERWARDS (AND/OR TAKE A BENADRYL 25MG) . STOP SCRATCHING IF AT ALL POSSIBLE IF THAT DOSENT WORK MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE YOUR DR.

If it were anything less severe, I had several suggestions ready. But honey, sounds like you're having an allergic reaction, and a fairly severe one. You should GO TO THE E.R. . There, they will give you the appropriate medications, and probably in an IV route, which will help you a lot faster. I know it's all a bother, but a much better choice when it's this severe.
Also, I would hate to tell you symptom relief, and then have your reaction progress while you are at home, leading to breathing problems and anaphylaxis. Which is life threatening. So yeah, just go to the ER. Best of luck to you, and in the meantime, try not to scratch yourself like that--don't make it bleed!

Antihistamines such as diphenhydramine (Benadryl) can help relieve itching caused by hives, but won鈥檛 affect itching from other causes. Most antihistamines also make people sleepy, which can help patients sleep who would otherwise be awake from the itch. Specific treatment of itching depends on the underlying condition that causes it. In general, itchy skin should be treated very gently. While scratching may temporarily ease the itch, in the long run scratching just makes it worse. In addition, scratching can lead to an endless cycle of itch鈥攕cratch鈥攎ore itching. To avoid the urge to scratch, a person can apply a cooling or soothing lotion or cold compress when the urge to scratch occurs. Soaps are often irritating to the skin, and can make an itch worse; they should be avoided, or used only when necessary.
Creams or ointments containing cortisone may help control the itch from insect bites, contact dermatitis or eczema. Cortisone cream should not be applied to the face unless a doctor prescribes it. Probably the most common cause of itching is dry skin. There are a number of simple things a person can do to ease the annoying itch:
鈥?don鈥檛 wear tight clothes
鈥?avoid synthetic fabrics
鈥?don鈥檛 take long baths
鈥?wash the area in lukewarm water with a little baking soda
鈥?for generalized itching, take a lukewarm shower
鈥?try a lukewarm oatmeal (or Aveeno) bath for generalized itching
鈥?apply bath oil or lotion (without added colors or scents) right after bathing
