Itching and a missed period? |
A couple days ago my vagina (both the outside and inside) started itching, not unbearably, but it bothered me during the day, especially in the morning when I woke up. Also, I was supposed to get my period on July 4th, but it is July 8th and still no sign. Ever since I first got it, it has always been exactly 28 days. I read somewhere that this itching and a missed period could be something very serious? I am going to the doctor soon, but is it extremely serious? Also, I have never had unprotected sex before, so there's absolutely no way it could be an STD. I am 100% sure of this. I am going to the doctor on Monday, but I was just wondering if anyone had any idea what the itching and missed period could be caused by and how to deal with it. STDs are tricky and not all condoms are leak proof. U should be very careful with soaps that u use. Try some vagisil products for external use to help relieve the discomfort. I am 18 and I have never had sex YET, but this sounds scary enough to make me wait longer. But my boyfriend fingered me and I started itching and got something like a bacterial infection, because of his fingernails, my dad (mom died when I was 8) nearly freaked out, he had to take me to the DR. The itching may just be YEAST, the missed period is probably a result of the yeast infection....I am just guessing, hope u will be fine and the results are ones that u can deal with. It could be Stress for Both You can never be 100% sure unless you just haven't had sex. Get your itchy *** to the doctor ASAP. there are some std's you can get with using a condom |
