I am itching...?

I am itching a little bit down below and I am not sure what it is from. I am not itching as bad as i was 2 days ago. I used a vinager and water douche and I used some itching cream that my dr gave me a while back. The itching is still there just a little bit. What can i get besides Vagisil and Monistat 7 that is cheap? or maybe something around the house?

You can get some lidocane. It's a topical cream that dulls the nerves a little. It's usually for pain, but it works on itching too.

If the itching is from a yeast infection, a good home remedy that works is to take some plain yogurt, dip a tampon in the yogurt and insert it into the vagina. I had the same problem once but with some burning. Then I used Monestat and it burned so bad I wanted to die. I called my mom. She said to take a hot bath, the do the yogurt thing. It worked like a charm. Plus, plain yogurt is under a dollar. Just make sure it's not vanilla plavored or something. You don't want any sugar or anything. Oh, and another trick is to push the tampon halfway out of the applicator, then dip the end in the yogurt. That way, you can still use the applicator, instead of your fingers. Good luck.
