Stop my itching!?

Last night I got back home from a weekend away 鈥?the house was cold 鈥?heating just turned on. I got into a cold bedroom and a cold bed. My back started itching down to my legs. Small pimple like 鈥榖umps鈥?raise from my skin on my back and I had to keep itching/ scratching. When one part stopped the other started 鈥?this went on for a while till my body my body temperature increased and I was feeling hot. The itching stopped. This has been going on for approximately 4 years. Gets worse in the winter. If I do any physical activity where I am hot and sweating鈥?I will start to itch where the cold catches me.
I feel like there are parasites in my body that I have to scratch out.

The pimples are like small cluster and I feel heat around those areas. The skin goes red.

I have been to my GP who referred me to the hospital to see a skin specialist. I was told that I was allergic but wasn鈥檛 told what I was allergic too. I have tried to monitor it but I don鈥檛 feel its food related.

It sounds like shingles. I know this because my sister got it many years ago. At the time she got it, she was told to apply "Tahitian Noni juice" onto the affected part, and it actually helped the healing process, apart from whatever medication the doctor prescribed.

I think you should get a second opinion from another GP.

Shingles, mate.

sounds like chillblains, although ive never known it to last so long take your doctors advise and get checked out properly . try "witch hazel" for the itching it calms the skin down.

I bet its weather related. Try Eucerin Dry Skin Therapy cream/lotion. Stops itching just like that. Ive been having the same symptoms for years and finally a nurse told me about this cream. This is available in pump and squeeze tubes. There's a Calming Cream in a jar, too, for worse situations like what you went just described. Go to your nearest drug store or Wal-Mart / K-Mart lotion aisles and find them. They come non-scented.

its not shingles, shingles doesn't come and go!
i would go back to the hospital, they should have records of your results, it could be house dust, house mites, you will keep suffering unless you go back

It sounds like a blood circulation problem to me. Try vigourous excericse. Whether I am right or wrong, please ask you GP for a second opinion.

Get some Oilatum and add some to your bath, then have a nice long soak in the bath and let the oils absorb into your skin. I suffer with patches of eczema and it works for me.
