Itching at Flu shot injection site?

I was wondering if it was normal or anyone else experienced redness and itching after getting the flu shot. Most literature I can find says redness but not itching. Yesterday I got a flu shot I have a 1 inch by 2 inch red, slightly raised spot that really itches at the injection site. Is this anything to worry about?

I tend to be very sensitive to medications, inhaled allergens and I can only wear gold or silver on my skin without breaking out. (I'm not allergic to eggs)

yes, it is a possible reaction. I also got it, more so as you are getting it on yearly basis.

Do you know that all vaccines, including the flu shot contain mercury and other harmful stabilizers?
